Your everyday Bayern Munich Hysteria

By: Jan | December 19th, 2007

A few months ago, Uli Hoeneß happily announced his summer blockbuster transfers. Life hasn’t been the same at Bayern Munich since. The club sold a record number of jerseys and other merchandise, the Allianz Arena is bursting at the seams and teenage girls are lining up outside of the Säbener Straße screaming “Ribery! Ribery!”. Nothing that can impress nor distract Miroslav Klose though.

What is truly scary is the part of the German teenage girls screaming Ribery’s name. And to think he was playing in the French third division a little over three years ago and is called scarface with great affection.

Ha! Klose is so over it. :) I’m glad the (now over) goal-scoring drought didn’t dampened the fans’ affection for our little Frenchman.

Jan, are they asking Klose about the club’s strikers? I thought I heard him mention Toni, Schlaudraff, and Lukas.

I think at the very beginning he makes some remark about Hitzfeld’s rotation policy. He then answers a question about Lukas Podolski. That he needs to get chances and take his chances, run a lot and be ambitious. That sort of thing. I should say this video is a couple of weeks old already. It probably dates back as far as the Bolton UEFA Cup match.
