I wanted to say Borussia Dortmund (for some reason it reminded of Dortmund’s jersey from the 90s), but I am not so sure.
Anyhow, thanks for the link to the adidas commercial, Jan. Quite cute. This is even though I am aware of the story of the Dassler brothers beforehand through a documentary I once watch.
But then Uli Hesse-Lichtenberger’s latest column really help to shed more light about the two brothers. I used to watch a documentary on how adidas and Puma came about, you see. It did also talked about the two brothers, but not really in detail. All cramped into a 30-minute documentary. But at least the YouTube link did mentioned something which the documentary I once watched also mentioned – Jesse Owens. Because when I used to study History in school, there was once my History teacher showed us a video on the Nazi era and it even touched on the 1938 Berlin Olympics and Owens was mentioned.
Ashiq, not sure if you noticed the TV listings on Tuesday…there was the Reiverderby on. It was only when I was browsing through the StarHub website in the wee hours of yesterday morning I only realised it showed on Tuesday afternoon! It showed yesterday morning again (I think it was like on 8am or something). From what I checked, apart from the Reiverderby, there’s also the Bayer Leverkusen-Hamburg and the Bayern Munich-Cologne matches. Only before we enter Matchday 22 this weekend, the Football Channel is showing the matches from the previous matchday. Oh well, better late than never.

Argh! I didn’t realise until you told me. *haha* Damn I missed it all, oh wait they’re showing Leverkusen – Hamburg on Friday and they’re showing the Live Friday game again *haha* Maybe the people at Starhub read our comments or something.

Jan, do you have any answer in regards to the team featured in the second link you posted? We are still waiting…
BTW, if you wonder what Ashiq and I were discussing, it was actually quite curious that the matches from last week were not on here in our country. The Premiere equivalent here is StarHub TV. Considering StarHub first began as a telecommunications company and it expanded to other areas like internet services before it bought the country’s only pay-TV company seven years ago. It is its pay-TV branch which acquired the Bundesliga TV rights here. The two channels Ashiq and I had mentioned (Football Channel, Supersports Plus) are here – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StarHub_Cable_TV And if you wonder why I used to mention Deutsche Welle, we have the channel here through that.
At the end of it with me being a sentimental person, I still like to refer to our pay-TV network by its old name as SCV (Singapore Cable Vision).
That was what I knew since as a child.Posted from

Ashiq was right. It’s a Hertha jersey.
