Schlaudraff is a very elegant player, so his goals almost always look pretty flashy and all, but he has to perform consistently first IMHO. I still rate Gomez very highly. It's amazing how many people are willing to write him off completely after his Euro performance. Gomez has already scored 6 goals in 9 games for Stuttgart this season. Luca Toni has problems in his national team as well at the moment, but that doesn't make him a bad striker. For now the one striker who IMHO really deserves more playing time for the national team is Patrick Helmes, who's probably Germany's best striker atm. Diana:
