Or: Ministry of Awesome Names. This is Hamburg’s Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting who is currently in Russia playing for Germany’s U19 national team. An interesting young striker, who could solve Hamburg’s problems up front, that are persistent ever since Sergej Barbarez left the club. Though, in the worst case scenario Choupo-Moting might just as well completely waste his talent in this team. For some reason strikers are struggling to find their feet at Hamburg. Naohiro Takahara or Boubacar Sanogo are recent and prominent examples of players who achieved near to nothing during their time in Hamburg, but re-ignited their careers once arriving at their new clubs.
