Kahnzilla

By: Jan | July 3rd, 2007

Bob apparently wasn’t satisfied with my boring answer as to why Kahn is worshipped in Japan and suggested an alternative.

My guess is that he is a legend for knocking back 50 pieces of sushi and a jug of saki in one sitting. Either that or it is his striking resemblance to Godzilla.

A quick Google session revealed that his assumption is probably more accurate and knowledgeable than my reference to Kahn’s World Cup 2002 heroics. That’s why he runs this site, while I only got this tiny sub-blog I guess.;-)

Dude, don’t listen to Bob. The real reason that Asians love Kahn is because they think he’s related to Kublai and Genghis. In other words, they’re scared shitless of him.

Good point, I think Kahn and Fear always go together nicely.
