Hairy Creatures: The Evolution of Timo Kunert

By: Jan | August 3rd, 2008

Timolution

This is young midfielder Timo Kunert – who I featured on this blog almost one year ago – over a time period of two years or July 2006 to July 2008 to be precise.

This serves as an excellent example to explain the difference between Schalke 04 and Hamburg to people who are new to German football.

This reminds me of the Cicero quote our Hertha blogger Abby used for one of her posts: “While there’s life, there’s hope.”

Seems like the hair has adapted to the rather windy weather in Germany’s north…
Still, uhg. And I thought Mario Gomez refusing to have his hair cut was bad.
