"in 39 away games under Mirko Slomka, Schalke have lost only three games to a team as low in the table as Borussia Dortmund" 40 away games, still only three lost games. “No team has completed the double in the Ruhr derby since 1996/97, and none since 1982/83 have completed the double when the second match has been away.” Schalke complete first derby double since 1996/97. Schalke first to complete the derby double, when the second match has been away, since 1982/83. It's been Schalke's weekend all around. :-) Time for the reality check:
