Bundesliga Offside Rewind: Burning to go
By: Jan | August 1st, 2008
14 days till kick-off. The team blogs are buzzing with activity. This blog is slowly recovering from its’ summer hibernation. Following the Weekly Dose’s triumphant return to this blog, it’s now time to have regular week-in-review posts again as well.
- Abby spent her time patiently waiting for Etoile’s Amine Chermiti… (Hertha Offside)
- …and watching unglamorous glamour friendlies. (Hertha Offside)
- Chris spent his time patiently putting up with Roman Calderon… (Hamburg Offside)
- …and the team’s new 3rd kit. (Hamburg Offside)
- Angela patiently put up with unconvincing pre-season performances… (Bayern Offside)
- …and in return for that was treated to an entertaining match against Urawa Red Diamonds. (Bayern Offside)
- Anna learned only to trust the Swiss… (Stuttgart Offside)
- …and most definitely not Uli Hoeneß. (Stuttgart Offside)
- I learned a new language… (Bundesliga Offside)
- …and some expressive dance moves. (Bundesliga Offside)

Aww, Jan, I was hoping to use that picture for the match report!
No, jus kidding. But it’s a great photo, isn’t it? By the way, I really enjoyed the Japanese quiz, and would love to participate again should you have the time to look up some more names.Posted from

I hope this translates to his Bundesliga form. Although Marica seems to have learned to hit the back of the net as well recently.“By the way, I really enjoyed the Japanese quiz, and would love to participate again should you have the time to look up some more names.”
Given that you got every name correct I’ll probably have to think of something way more difficult. But I actually have a post in a similar vein coming, so I hope you’ll enjoy that one too.
