Amen to 5). If Enke's going to have any shot at all of being #1 for the national team, he's going to need some high profile matches between now and '10.

1) I can't see Schalke winning the title anytime soon either. And I don't think any other top Bundesliga side has or will have a particular interest to sign Kuranyi.

2) Yup, the old Bayern would have probably lost the last three games and would be in a crisis. I'm really looking forward to see what Klinsmann can do or can't do with this squad and whether he can assemble a similarly smart team of experts as he did as Germany coach.

3) I'm still hoping for a dirty 1-0 win over Schalke to lift them out of their crisis.

4) Or they are assembling a human roadblock in front of Doll's villa, to prevent him from doing further damage.

5) Should Stuttgart really manage to make it to the CL they should send Schäfer back to Nuremberg, and let him help the club get promoted again and then buy Robert Enke out of his contract with Hanover.

1) Mirko Slomka may never win a Bundesliga title, but if he does, he'll surely do it before Kevin Kuranyi does.

2) I think that Preuss goal against Bayern in Frankfurt last season was the sign that things were not going to turn the corner for that Bayern squad; conversely, yesterday's win seemed to confirm no one can catch them. I expect to be seeing a lot more Toni Kroos around May 7.

3) Hamburg actually out-Hertha-ed Hertha. That is some accomplishment. It was visual Nytol. Huub is busy this week building a bigger barn for Ivica Olic to try to hit.

4) Well there are two possibilities: They left by train for Berlin on Tuesday night with the hopes of arriving in Berlin by Saturday night (you never know with Die Bahn these days), or they were busy scalping their tickets for Saturday to Bayern fans.

5) Even if they lose in Munich, I think Stuttgart will finish 3rd. I don't think they will drop a single point after that, no matter who is between the sticks.
