Matchday 11: Eleven
By: Jan | October 27th, 2007Seven matches played so far and no more than 11 goals were scored. That’s an awful 1,6 goals per match average and the 0-0 draws played out between Hannover and Frankfurt or Karlsruhe and Rostock rank among the worst games of the season.
One-nil Hamburg plays tomorrow, and they probably won’t help make the stats look a bit nicer. So here’s hoping for a goalfest in Dortmund, when Bayern Munich stops by.

Wow, it’s something of a time to cry when Arminia versus Energie Cottbus scores nearly 1/5 of the total goals for a day of play.
Still, props to Dennis Sorensen for now becoming the top scorer of the worst team in the league.
Fitting duology with the day of shame I think.

Cerberus: And he also was the player to score Cottbus’ first goal away from home this season. Just proves that it wasn’t ex-coach Petrik Sander’s fault, that Cottbus will play in the second Bundesliga next year.
Shazback: Yeah, I was checking the Ligue 1 results later yesterday and the four 0-0 draws instantly caught my eye. Impressive.
Here’s hoping Rennes scores a couple of goals against Lens.Posted from

And now here we are with a 0-0 draw between Bayern and Dortmund. Lessee, that’s 12 goals in 9 Bundesliga games this weekend, compared to 17 goals in 11 games currently for Ligue 1. Nice work, guys.
