Lukas Podolski and Mario Gomez during Germany’s 4-0 victory over Switzerland. Too bad there’s only room for one of the two alongside Klose. Though, Podolski might have a chance to replace Schweinsteiger in Germany’s midfield. Podolski’s pass to Gomez, before he made it 3-0, was better than anything Schweinsteiger did all game long.
