I still remember Lukas Podolski sending a kiss to the crowd after scoring his penalty against Argentina. The TV cut from a wide angel to a close up and in the close up you could only see his arms spread out - somewhat reminiscent of the aforementioned gesture. This caused an absolutely ridiculous nervous outcry in parts of the blogging world. Arian: you’re right it’s nonsense, though it was intentional nonsense.:-)
