Germany’s National Team takes the hard Way to Austria and Switzerland

If you were the first team to qualify for the Euros and are a favourite with the bookies to win the whole thing, you need to find yourself a new challenge. And should Michael Ballack ever have ambitions to drive an old DeLorean back to 1985, to get a chance to break into Beckenbauer’s German national team, the moustache would be the least of his problems.

    I. Am seriously reconsidering my long-standing loyalty to Germany. This is [i]embarrassing[/i].

    Maybe I’ll start supporting Denmark — after all, I’ve had a lot of practice at self-hate and descending into existential despair, being Welsh.
