Injuries and withdrawals leave Löw German expectations

Post-Match
Low on a high after win
England pander to Germany again

It was an overall ok showing by the English press, given the fact that some regulars like Michael ‘never mind the’ Ballack and Miroslav ‘came’ Klose were missing. And I assume that Torsten ‘can only get better’ Frings would have also played a bigger part in the headlines without his injury. Good move by Joachim Löw to invite Christian Pander to the team.

Truly hilarious. Europe needs the English tabloid press for this kind of humour.

And now that they know who Christian Pander is, they may be a bit quicker next time to pick up that his hiphop alter ego is Funky Pee.
