LA Galaxy coach Yallop resigns, where’s Klinsmann?
By: Jan | November 5th, 2007
I don’t know whether this has made it into a rumour yet, but it was my first thought when I read the news that LA Galaxy are looking for a new coach. Also because I still had the picture on the left in my archive, just waiting for the right moment and the right blog post.
Now that Chelsea have a new manager, Tottenham Hotspurs have a new manager, Valencia have a new manager and with Jose Mourinho on the market, the vacant LA Galaxy job might be an interesting alternative for Klinsmann. The job has the advantage, that the media attention might not be as intense as in Europe, so he can continue to live the calm life to some extend. Klinsmann also has no coaching experience at club level, so a developing league like the MLS might be a good choice for a start.

That’s an interesting thought. If they’d give him the complete control he demands, it could very well happen.

I wouldn’t mind Klinsmann – he impressed me in World Cup. But the Yallop thing sucks. Alexi Lalas should have been the one to go.

Klinsmann would be awesome, but I can’t see Lalas relinquishing enough control to make a deal palatable to Klinsmann.
