The Dusel(TM) is Back

By: Jan | August 14th, 2011

As is the first – but certainly not last – call for video replays.

While their football is still lacking some punch, Bayern at least got back what had deserted them for most of last season: the Bayern-Dusel. While Wolfsburg had a perfectly valid goal disallowed for offside, Bayern, after struggling to break down Wolfsburg for 89 minutes, eventually got their breakthrough via Luiz Gustavo in the 90th minute.

Felix Magath was left furious and went through the motions of blaming the referee and the lack of video replay in football. For some reason he failed to mention his team, that couldn’t create much except for the goal.

Though I hope Bayern keep their Dusel within respectable bounds – for the sake of the rest of the league. :-)
